Transfer Deadline Days often let us down. On many occasions, the last day of the transfer window features very little action, leaving us all a little underwhelmed.

Not this time. Not on a Deadline Day where, out of the blue (pardon the pun), Chelsea pay £38million to bring David Luiz back to Stamford Bridge.

It's a remarkable turn of events, given that The Blues sold the Brazilian to PSG for a mind-boggling £50million in 2014.

The deal becomes even more remarkable when you consider all the weird and wonderful things almost destined to happen now Luiz is back in west London…
