Its been quiet some time now that i’v known this and i must tell you this is really helpful, sometimes when playing sound or watching movies, the sound volume may not be satisfactory and that will be hard to even hear what you are even listening to or watching. But with this you can increase your system volume.
If you are using VLC Media Player to play your audio or video file, you can increase your volume up to 400% (that’s inbuilt in VLC), but some of their newest version only stops at 200%. But the steps below is an inbuilt options on your System PC.
How To Increase System Sounds or Volume Above 100%
To increase your system volume/sounds above 100% follow the simple steps bellow.Click on the Speaker Icon on your notification area, it will display volume bar, then click on Mixer and another popup will display with all available sounds, just click on System Sounds (see screenshot below)
Now click on Playback menu, under playback menu, double click on Speaker, then click on the top menu labelled Enhancements, there are many option with details.
As you can see in the screenshot above, i choose more than the Loudness Equalization, you can choose the Equalizer if you are familiar with it, if not then ignore.
Scroll up again and tick Environment, ignore if you notice abnormal sounds or anything but its quiet useful, but just tick on Loudness Equalization if you don’t know what the other options are working for.
